Draping is an essential of every theatrical production but also fabulous for dressing corporate venues.
Black Velvet
Drapes are offered in three heights, 3.0m, 6.0m and 9.0m.
Width is generally 3.0m howeverthe 9.0m drapes come in a 4.5m width.
Many of our drapes are Curtain Call brand which has the advantage of a top pocket meaning the drape can be slid onto the poles with no tying at all. Velcro Tabs allow the drapes to join seamlessly from top to bottom.
Other Colours
The AV Dept has a small range of white drapes.
We can arrange a large number of other colours on request.
One old favourite is Deep Red or Moulon Rouge Red/Maroon made famous by so many movies and dancers.
On offer also is Fire Engine Red, Sky and Royal Blue, Green, Yellow, Purple and a surprising colour that’s looks really great is mid grey. It lights really well.

Skirts and Borders
Skirts for staging or as borders are available in 300, 450, 600, 900 and 1200mm as standard. Some 1500mm lengths are available and projector and operator skirts.
While most skirts are black velvet there is a range in nylon and cotton which are great for outdoor stages where regular washing may be necessary.
Skirts are available inhouse in deep red, royal blue and purple but we can arrange other colour on request.
Drape Rigging
Curtain Call Brand uprights, crossbars and base plates make up our main stock of drape rigging.
For difficult areas we offer a pipe and pole system on Galvanised Uprights. The poles can be cut to any lengths allowing for custom installs.
Operator Surrounds are available is a few brands,but all consist of a 1 to 1.5m upright with a smaller base and crossbar. Operator Systems are also useful as a nicer queuing system.
